24P Films began in 2007 at Schoolcreative® in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Originally called “The Broken Door Players", it was a forum to place their collective and individual works for demo purposes. A platform for aspiring film professionals. Offering actors, writers, directors, and producers starting out in the film industry a place where any and all could go and see what they were capable of achieving.
We chose to make work rather than simply wait for work to come to us.
In 2009 they joined forces with writer/director Mathew Joki of Halivantigua Films® and branched off to create what is now known as 24P Films®
24p Films' goal is to put out quality work, work we are proud of and want to showcase. There is too much finger pointing in the industry about who is to blame for "bad television" or "bad movies".
We believe: "To see a change, you must make a change."
